Citywide Funk, based in Houston, TX is focused on making a difference in peoples’ lives through music. Our collective group of talented musicians have been playing together for years, and with various venues throughout the State of Texas. Our extensive list of music is bound to touch the heart of any generation, taking you back ..... Whether playing for nightclubs, private corporate events, wedding receptions, or special venues; …. It’s about the simple fact that we understand it’s all about memories…it’s about you and your guests! Don Lott Lead Guitar and Band Leader
Don started singing with his mother Virgie Lott at True light Missionary Baptist Church; downtown Houston under Reverend EL Lott (father). Don started his music career playing in Highschool for Worthing Highschool Stage Band. From there, he pursued clubs, private parties and churches and is currently the owner/lead guitar/vocalist for Citywide Funk which caters to all types of music venues.
Don opened for the Eisley Brothers in 2002 at the Arena Theater; Frankie Beverly and Maze at Tinsley Park Downtown, Houston and for Bob Marley and the Whalers in 2002 at the Music Hall. Don was also the Lead Guitarist at Windsor Village United Methodist Church for 13 years under Kathy Taylor Brown, Darrell Johnson and Leon Lewis, Sienna Ranch Baptist Church under music director Oliver Scott and South Park Baptist Church since 2019.
Don plays at corporate functions as lead guitarist for Password, Dominique Hammons -National Recording Violinist, Fidelity Maxx, Clockwork, Such & Such, Tracy Perez Band and and many more. Don specializes in Pop, R & B, Funk, Dance Music and Contemporary Jazz and plays a variety of music that appeals to all generations. Don attended TSU where he received a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Electromechanical Technology. He also SMU where he majored in electronics and graduated MS Certified. Don is married and lives in Spring, TX. His passion is sharing his music and exciting crowds across the generations with some of the best musicians and vocalists that Houston has to offer .

MI'CHEL "Rosii" ROSE
- Taking the industy by sheer faith and force, Mi'Chel "Rosii" Rose is a force to be reckoned with . Possessing a powerful voice, Mi'chel consistently delivers soul-stirring performances that captivate audiences worldwide.
- Growing up in Houston, raised by her grandparents, Mi'chel began singing in the church choir at 5 years old. Influenced by Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, and Michael Jackson, she began writing and recording music by the age of 12, and organized dance teams and singing groups through college. Mi'chel starting singing locally at the age of 17 as a protege o Cecil Shaw. Mi'chel gained the moniker "The Queen of the Stage".
Miryea Lewis
Mireya is a singer/songwriter born and raised in Houston, Texas. Mireya began writing music as a child, and shortly after, began singing in church. She attended Houston area music magnet schools where she studied music theory and varioius genres of music. Mireya attended HSPVA and graduated with two degrees. She released her debut EP "Mireya" with "Daddy" and her first full album "LaMentirose soon after, which is on YouTube NOW! With Influences from jazz, gospel, pop and R&B music her lyrics are refreshingly honest and substantive . Mireya hopes her music leaves listeners with feelings that they are not alone in their experiences!
Melinia Jackson
- Hailing from this wonderful city, Melinia Jackson is a graduate of the world-renowned High School for the Performing and Visual Arts where she was a vocal major. Her musical experiences at HSPVA allowed her to sing for President Clinton at the D-Day celebration in London, England for two weeks.
- Most recently, Melinia has lent her voice to the acclaimed recordings of Kathy Taylor and Favor, Gary Maze and Nu Era, Theola Booker and Friends and Eric Carrington. Through these artists and many more she has appeared on the Bobby Jones show numerous times, and opened up for Kim Burrell, Donnie McClurkin, Mary J. Blige, Faith Evans and the late Gerald Levert. She was even chosen to sing background for the Clark Sisters in their reunion concert. As well, Dorinda Clark Cole and Twinkie Clark have used Melinia’s vocal talent on numerous occasions in Tennessee. Melinia loves using her God given gift to bring forth great and meaningful music and has no intentions of quitting anytime soon. Her passion for music will soon be heard in her highly anticipated jazz album.

Kerry Mike
- Kerry Mike has been playing in the Houston arena, since he was young. He went to Lamar University and prior to that North Shore H.S. In adidition to Citywide Funk, Kerry also plays with Password and other area popular bands.
Cedric Patterson
- Cedric has been influenced by music ever since he was 5 years old. Originally, inspired by Gospel Music in Church, his Kansas roots upbringing introduced him additionally to Jazz and Blues . Cedric plays a variety of instruments in addition to Bass Guitar. He is also a music writer and producer and has several singles/CD's on Youtube. Cedric's passion is instrumental music but he enjoys all kinds of music. In his spare time, when he is not paying with various Houston Bands, he also makes La'el Custom Bass Guitars .

Terrence Fisher
Terence Fisher Bio Born in Dallas, Texas but raised in Louisiana by a mother and father who loved music, Terence began to develop an interest in music at the age of 12. Terence was exposed to several different forms of music including Jazz, Rap, Gospel, Rock, Funk and Country. At 18, he began to work professionally with local jazz and gospel groups including that of Dorsey Summerfield & the Polyphonics. He soon decided to form his own Band, Level G. It was not long before he was regularly playing for concerts, studio sessions, tours and performed with artists such as Greg O’quin, John P. Kee, Henry Johnson, Vickie Baker, The Platters, The Coasters, The Drifters, The Marvelettes, Kim Waters and Sounds of Blackness. In 2005, Terence moved to Houston, Texas where he began serving as Music Director at a local church, directing multiple choirs and musicians and working with local talent. In this new location he was able to display his spectacular talent and innovative use of combining classical, expressive piano playing with Jazz and R & B which brought him worldwide recognition. As a solo artist, Terence has recorded and produced many local and national talents as well as his own music. Terence is very involved with the teaching aspect, conducting many camps, clinics and workshops throughout the U.S. His goal is to inspire as many people as possible through the music and the arts.
